Set Tim Tebow Free

Tim Tebow at Lipscomb UniversityI have been a Denver Broncos fan since 1981, I have watched them throughout their ups and downs, and especially their heights in the late 1990′s. The team went to Super Bowl’s with very little talent but a winning Quarterback.  Well I meant to write this post last night to give my take on the Peyton and Tebow situation. I felt that the Broncos were doing Tebow a disservice by keeping him on and maybe putting him in an auxiliary role (aka tight end, running back, wide receiver), as they will be starting Peyton. He has brought so much energy as well as controversy to the Broncos and to the state, but in my mind he has been exemplary with his attitude and actions. So a little late with this post, but the Broncos did trade him to the New York Jets. I’ll always be a Broncos fan, but I want to see Tebow succeed in the NFL as well. It will be interesting to be rooting for 2 teams this year, honestly it will make the season twice as enjoyable. Tim Tebow traded This year I will hopefully watch him get a Coach and team to back him as he takes on Mark Sanchez for the starting QB position. I think the Jets will be a solid home for Tebow, and where many players under the bright lights of the New York media have withered, I believe he is going to shine even more. I can’t wait till the start of the football season!
